Our Most Popular Orthodontic Treatments
Each smile is unique, which is why our orthodontic treatment for Concord locals is tailored towards the individual. Some of the most popular orthodontic treatment options, include:
Metal Braces
Metal braces are a popular, proven way to correct a range of different orthodontic conditions Today, new technology means that provide more comfortable and less intrusive metal braces that deliver fast and cost-effective orthodontic results.

Clear Aligners & Invisalign
Clear & Ceramic Braces
Clear and ceramic braces technology continues to develop and provide a more subtle and equally effective treatment alternative to traditional metal braces. By matching the colour of the braces to the tooth, we are able to provide clear orthodontic treatment that is almost invisible without sacrificing on function.

Clear aligners from Invisalign are one of the most popular orthodontic treatment options on the market for teens and adults who desire discretion in their orthodontic treatment. Clear aligners work to straighten the tooth and correct alignment through a series of ‘trays’ that gradually shift the position of the teeth.
Retainers
Custom retainers are the final piece of the puzzle. Following your orthodontic treatment, retainers ensure that your teeth do not migrate to their pre-treatment position and thereby undo your investment.

Lingual braces or behind the tooth braces are a great way to correct common orthodontic issues with spacing and crowding. Lingual braces work in a similar way to traditional metal braces, however, their “behind the tooth” design means that they are more subtle and a suitable treatment option for adults who desire discretion.

No, you do not need a referral to book an appointment.
Most of our patients come to us through a referral from their local dentist or will book directly with Dr. Jessica Yeo.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
The duration of treatment will depend on the treatment method that you choose and the complexity of the procedure. For modest corrections, orthodontic treatment can take as little as 6-months to complete. On the other hand, more complex cases can take anywhere from 18 to 24-months to complete. Following your initial consultation with Dr. Jessica Yeo, you will receive a more accurate time frame based on your unique circumstances.

Who should undergo orthodontic treatment?
Individuals with jaw misalignment, like overbite and underbites, or crowded and crooked teeth, are the most common orthodontic problems that require treatment.
Addressing orthodontic issues can fix more than just the appearance of a smile, but also improve oral function and health. When orthodontic treatment is not undertaken when needed, there are risks like cavities, gum disease, and poor digestion (caused by improper chewing).
What is the right age for my child to see an orthodontist?
Children should see an orthodontist once their front adult teeth have grown in – around eight to ten years old. Generally, your dentist will recommend seeing an orthodontist if they suspect that orthodontic treatment may be required. From there, orthodontists can evaluate the child’s existing teeth, gums, and jaw alignment and predict the future growth of adult teeth that have not yet been broken through. Through this assessment, orthodontists can determine whether the child needs early treatment.
Early orthodontic treatment refers to children receiving treatment before all their adult teeth have broken through. Identifying issues early on can make treatment quicker (as the teeth and jaws are easier to manipulate) and cause fewer problems in the future.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do. We understand that orthodontic treatment can be an investment – that’s why we offer flexible repayment plans. Our repayment plans are interest-free and can be as long as 24 months with an initial deposit.
